This is my first strategies tips,

FOR BEGINNERS :

To begin, I highly recommend to level up your resources first to 6 or 7 and to attack other people the more they can (at this level it is really easy to beat other people and you get so much easy money). Also do not level up your city all to fast knowing the fact that when you attack people and that your city all is 1 or more level upper than him then you gain less resources and less trophy. The other thing is that you should keep the gems you start with, it is really important because a lot of people spend them for buildings but you should really save them to buy workers hut because they are really use full. The last thing I can tell you is that you should join a clan but do not try to create your own clan until you are really powerful because it would be a loose of money and time.

FOR ALL PLAYERS :

-Defense strategies,

The image in the left is an example of what you shouldn't do with your village. Most of the time we do that because we absolutely want to protect our city hall (which is a good reflex because when it is destroyed the battle is automatically loose) but this is useless because when they will have finish destroy your defense they will get easily to your town hall, thats why you should protect your defenses in priority and put your town hall in the middle, the third image is a good example of what you should do. The other thing to do is first, to put all the same types of defenses close to each other so they can protect each other, also the technic to put extra walls separated from each other a little bit that you will use to avoid bomber men because they will go straight to the nearest wall (follow the example of the image but put less spaced walls than in it). The Ultimate defense that you get when your town hall is at level 7 is Testla towers, those towers are hidden so like bombs your opponent cant' see them when he attacks you. If you have one of those towers put it in front of your defenses because giants will go automatically to the tower wile your other defenses kill them. One last thing about defense today is that when you put hidden bombs in your city put all of them in the same place, a place that you think will be attack first by your opponent.

Attack strategies,

There is a lot of different attack strategies but the first thing I can tell is that if you like one try all the time to practice so that you can know how to use it perfectly. First the basic strategy is to use barbarians only archers only or both this technic work quite well but you have to use it carefully and the important thing is that you need to  disperse your troops as more as possible and in small groups so that you can avoid mortars, also attack in priority cities which has wizard towers and mortars in the corners of the defenses. The other good technic and cheep to is giant + barbarians + archers + goblins (if you want to do some farming), this technic works very well because all the little troupes are protected by the giants, of course in all those technics don't forget bomber which is the most important. Also a good thing to do in my opinion is to make one balloon because it stay cheep and while your other troupes destroy the air defenses the balloon can do the mortars... for the moment I will stay in those cheep strategies and I will give you others later.
