Personally for me, nothing will disappoint me more than juvia’s abysmal appearance in the phantom lord chapter cover. Am I pissed that juvia’s beautiful eyes are reduced to deformed hearts? Yes. But juvia did get a pretty big panel and is beautifully shaded. I feel like being a juvia fan is being satisfied with scraps.

For me not. I can see how unfair the author is since years ago with my fav. The first apparence in Phantom arc you can say it was a beggining and any character looked particulary good. But now after years and with a perfectionated art style he draws a big cover with alot of characters looking flawless but Juvia. Who has a shaped heart eyes and the big panel was for Gray who only his  face but looks a lot better, Juvia was the bg, her pose is a lazy one. The shading is the same with the other ones so is not a win. yeah I will be upset a while...

So it is just speculation? I thought so. If anything I would think that the 3rd anime season would start before the manga finishes in order to capitulate on the hype of the end of the manga and in order to effectively publicise the anime release. If the manga ends first then there is the potential for missed marketing. It makes sense for them to have the build up to the return of the anime and the build up to the end of the manga overlap-it generates more interest and gives them multiple avenues for selling both products to both audiences. So I would put the manga ending date a little later in the year (maybe around chapter 575 if he doesn't push for 600). But, who knows. It's pointless to worry about it until we get some official dates.
