I live in a world where Gatsby realises the American dream is unattainable so he gives up on daisy and instead him and nick make out sloppy style and live out their gay little lives in peace and nothing bad happens to Gatsby ever
I’m still working, I’m still alive. (That’s the order of importance)
I think I’ve done my singular subject verb forms, I haven’t entirely decided if mood is involved the way it was before, I might split it up into some inflection and some auxiliary verbs. I’ll let you know when I decide (yeah right)
I’m also toying with the idea of doing pitch accent instead of stress- I don’t think I’ll generally mark the accented syllable, a speaker would know the rules, but for this I marked them. (Coincidentally these were all final)
But here are the gnomic forms for “to die”
/ðɛ.hi.ˈnɪs/ to have once died, to have died long ago.
/hɪ.ˈnin/ to have died
/hɪ.ˈnɪs/ to die
/hɪ.ˈnɛʃ/ will die
If I do pitch accent it all of these will just be a high/rising tone. And the second forms are just that, alternate forms based on aesthetics.
