Welcome to Season 3 of my channel!
On this episode we push off from Åland's capital city Mariehamn and have an incredible day sailing under headsail alone to the magical port of Rödhamn.
After getting tied up we go ashore to explore this new harbor and I fall in love with this storybook-esque land and take you far above the island with a drone flight so we can get a better look at this small island (which has no electricity).
We get a visit from a friendly bird, Neil enjoys the sauna and we both take in the incredible sunset.
This season will follow my time on board SV Arcturus as we explore the Åland Islands and beyond. We sail into cities, tie up on small islands, anchor bows to and ride out a blow before heading back to Sweden. I hope you will follow along with us on the trip.

I decided to throw in a project video for all my subscribers that prefer these over the adventure videos, We will continue my Åland series next week but first....
I made one of the videos a while back showing how to (incorrectly) service a bronze winch... and boy did I get roasted in the comments. Most everyone was nice and a number of viewers explained to me what I got wrong and acknowledged what I got right. Not wanting to spread misinformation I took the video down and finally got around to making a replacement video.
On this video I show you how I disassemble the bronze winch on my 1965 Alberg 30. This model of winch is entirely bronze and single speed so it doesn't get much easier. There are no bearings on my winches just bronze on bronze action (that sounds like the title of a porno).
I cleaned all the parts with diesel fuel and used "Harken Pawl Oil" on the Pawls and used "Harken Winch Grease" lightly on the shaft.
Thanks to my viewers who were kind to me on the last video and explained how I should be doing it.

On this episode I do a dry fit of the new holding tank I am installation on my 1965 Alberg 30. I then move on to cutting out bases for the Y-Valves and finally cut an access hole in the top of my holding tank.
I make my project videos on the slow side letting people see what I did and how I dealt with obstacles, in past videos my viewers have thanked me for not jumping over all of the details and getting right to the finished project so while this might not be the most exciting video it might help some people out there see how I dealt with certain aspects of the project.

Just What Does Biodegradable Mean?
