I usually don't post my progress here but I mindswell since it looks like my Ahri is getting a lot of likes. This is a long how- to, but I hope it helps! Thank you for your support! Supplies- Göt2b hairspray, Mane 'n Tail Detangler Spray, scissors, wig brush, needle and thread, wig comb clips (actually optional lol, holds your wig on), and then a flat iron(I'll tell you why I needed it in Step 1). 1. Base wigs(both from Arda)- Jumbo braid in French Roast and Luthien Classic in Black. The jumbo braid is not heat resistant but the actual wig is. I use the jumbo braid for structuring my wigs, gives good volume. I chose a dark brown, rather than keep everything one color, so it looks natural. The Luthien is a wavy style wig. Why did I get a wavy style? The back of Ahri's head is wavyish(has that curve) in- game and pulled into the braid, so to create the volume also, I went with the Luthien. In one of the splash arts, Ahri has a straight hairstyle in the front and in-game it is also pretty much straight, so I went with that and straightened the front of the Luthien. 2. Sectioning off the wig. Bangs are precut short on the Luthien so all I needed to section at the time was the sides. 3. Spraying the Mane 'n Tail detangler on the soon- to- be braid portion. I left the sides alone because I applied heat to them later. 4.I sewed the jumbo braid to the center weft that is in the back of the head. Like where a ponytail would be. 5. Not pictured, but I actually undid the jumbo braid. Then I sectioned off three parts to braid, and yeah- I braided it. (If you're wondering why I did not braid all the way down) I'm going for accuracy with the wig simce I went fancy on the outfit, still true to the character either way though 😏 Then I straightened the sides and trimmed the bangs. All done!! This wig reaches knee length btw. #ardawigs #ahri #classicahricosplay #classicahri #leagueoflegends #leagueoflegendscosplay #lolcosplay #cosplay
