Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto??
I listen to a lot of Tchaik but he is too BUSY for most people: I can block it out to the req'd level b/c I know it so well, but on a first- or second-time listening it could be quite distracting. Try Tchaik's Serenade for Strings if you want some middle ground.
Otherwise, much of Vaughan Williams is great - esp. Lark Ascending and Dives and Lazarus. Orrrrrr Debussy if you are v. much of the 'quiet and unobtrusive' school.
