🌏 💦 🔥 💨 The Platonic Solids exemplify mathematics in its most beautiful form! These shapes have fascinated mathematicians and healers for millennia, and are seen here in Quartz, Smoky quartz, Rose quartz, and Shungite. 📐 Platonic solids are regular, convex polyhedrons which adhere to strict symmetry rules. They have been studied extensively for thousands of years, and are observed in nature as well as in the laws of geometry. There are only five shapes which fit the criteria of a Platonic solid: tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron. Plato proposed that the solids corresponded with the five classical elements (fire, water, earth, wind, and what was called aether at the time). The ancients studied these shapes, and made observations which helped birth the studies of atomic theory and states of matter, as well as Euclid's groundbreaking Elements. So why did we also include a merkabah (or star tetrahedron) in this group?
