#Repost @classicbritishspares (@get_repost) ・・・ Swipe 👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾 Over the weekend I decided to make a testing “jig” to visually see and check fuel levels on my Amal Monobloc carbs. - I mounted both carbs side by side on a 5/16” think steel plate. I purchased 1/4” thick plexiglass from @loweshomeimprovement to use as the checking window. - The feed carb was slightly higher then the mark or dot on the float cover. I swapped out the needle holder from a different carb that happened to have a shallower step. Doing so dropped the fuel level. - The other carb is a “chopped” Monobloc which is factory. There was no need to check the fuel level on the chopped carb because it does not have an independent float... it reflects the fuel level on the main carb feeding it. #cbsparts #classicbritishspares #triumpht21build https://www.instagram.com/p/BrQDPRdnHSa/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=zx8yk1iaf8ej
