That the first monument of the year is only shown on eurosport 2 is a shame. I wont' watch it live, although I could, because I think sport should be available for everybody and not only for those who can pay. This is what happens, if the rights get sold to the highest bidder for a short term win instead to the ones with the highest reach, which would help the sport in a long term view. You could think the uci and some race organisers want to destroy the sport on purpose.
Maybe they really think this crazy way, who knows. After all, if they finally brought the sport down, they can do whatever they want with it. It isn’t as if business people and politicians hadn’t used this method before, right?
