It's been eons, really, since I've posted a legit entry here on Tumblr. I just can't help but post this though. I find it really funny. It's a conversation between me & my cousin yesterday night.
& btw guys, I'll name him 'Matt'. No. It's not his real name. Just for privacy purposes :)

Matt: HELLO? ANYONE THERE? Me: NO ONE'S HERE. GTFO. Matt: Srsly? Anyway, got a question for ya. Me: Shoot. Matt: This topic is up for debate. How are guys supposed to ask a girl out? Through text? Or face to face? Me: I say face to face. Makes everything more sincere. Matt: People can lie... face to face. Me: Unless you're truly a liar... then maybe you can. Matt: So you're tryna say that either way, it's okay? Me: Yeah. But I prefer for a guy to ask me out straight in the face. Matt: Aaaaaaaaaand we're back. People can lie. Me: Would you lie? Matt: Hell no. Me: EXACTLY. Unless you're a complete douche, a guy wouldn't do that. Matt: Why? Me: Why... what? Matt: I mean, why face to face though? Me: I told you, didn't I? It makes everything sound sincere. It takes balls to ask a girl out. Matt: ......true. But that's the problem. Everyone is not always sincere. Me: True. Matt: .....so how do you deal with that? Me: It's a risk. Matt: You told me that story about how you confessed to the person you love. You sent the confession through text. If you're so adamant about a guy asking a girl out face to face, why couldn't you do it? Me: Look... I'm not gonna say that us girls have exceptions. It's just that... we're both in this different circumstance. I won't say what but it's kinda hard, I guess. And besides, I trust him enough that when I say I'm being honest, then he knows I'm being honest. Matt: What did he say? Me: Why the fuck are we even talkin about this? What's your deal anyway? Matt: There's this girl that I like... Me: OBVIOUSLY. I sorta connected the dots already. And you're debating whether to ask her personally or just through text. I say personal. Nothing is more admirable than a guy asking a girl out personally. It's a classic. It's the right way. Matt: But there's technology for this! Me: DON'T YOU DARE BE CORRUPTED! BE A MAN FOR FUCK'S SAKE! Don't you ever be like one of those jerks. Not sayin here that every guy who asks a girl out through text is a jerk, it's just that, some of em can be very shady. Matt: I KNOW OKAY. It's just... it's my first time and I get all nervous. Me: Psshhhh. My boy, that's completely normal. Even us girls get butterflies. Took me days to gather my balls just to send that text. So yeah... ask her personally. It's gonna be hard... really REALLY hard. But when you hear her say 'YES', it'll be all worth it. Matt: If she rejects me... you pay. Me: YOU'RE. ON. Matt: PHP500 Me: OH IT IS ON.

Aaaaand that's it :)) I haven't received a text from him yet though. Or maybe he chickened out. He told me he'd ask her out today but... I don't know yet. So yeah. This conversation got my blood pumping foreal! :)))
