The drive to her old house seemed to take forever, eyes watching out the window of the cab that was taking her from the airport back to the town she used to live in. Ah, her surroundings were cleaner than her surroundings she was used to for ten years. The drive was finishing, and Gale couldn’t help but recognize the houses and the people she drove pass by. “Hey, it’s that man who used to give us free food after school!” She pointed out to her older brother, who seemed so hyped. But not as excited as she was. The girl was so thrilled to visit places from her childhood, old friends—especially her childhood bestfriend, Mason. She never got to say goodbye to him. They had to leave unexpectedly because of her father's work. I wonder if he still remembers me? What if he moved somewhere else? The vehicle finally stopped, and Gale was the very first one to get out of the cab. Nothing really changed. Except for the fact that the house's paint was peeling off. "I missed this place," she sighed.
