.....henlo. If you are up to it, maybe some sleepy, rainy, sicky cuddles between Tiberius and Willa? (Throw Julian into the mix as well, if you want)
so this was longer than expected, but then again i love writing about the three lol
under cut cause it got long
In the early hours of the morning, the sun not even risen yet, the pirate wakes up to a curling feeling in her belly. Whining under her breath, Willa turns on her side and hides her face into her pillow. A large, warm hand brushes through her hair, moving it from her face. Tiberius's chest rumbles against her back as he speaks, voice gravely with sleep.
"What's the matter, blue?"
She just whines again, shoulders hunching up to her ears as she peeks an eye out. Ty was laying on her right side, long hair tumbling down his bare chest and back, blanket resting around his hips. Something shifts behind her and a slim, colder hand presses against Willa's heavily flushed cheek, making her tremble.
"Oh dear, you feel like you're running a fever." Julian sighs, fingers rubbing small circles in her temples. "Do you feel nauseous at all, love?" He asks, carefully rolling her over so she was on her back.
"A little... also lightheaded..." She mumbles, blinking both eyes ope and blearily looks at the doctor.
Julian glances at Ty before getting out of bed, walking out of their room. Willa tries to sit up, shivering when Ty helps her up.
"Come here, let me tie your hair up." He says as he notices her hair sticking to her sweaty temples and neck.
She shakily turns her back towards him and feels his fingers braid her hair, tying the end with the piece of string she used instead of a ribbon. Ty then lays back down, moving her to be curled up on his chest.
He clicks his tongue, feeling her tremble as he pulls the blankets over them. Her head nudges to be under his chin, her cold hand gripping at his shoulder. Julian returns with a cup of tea and also some water, though he stops in the doorway at the sight of them.
Little Willa, pale skin flushed bright red with fever, brow creased, and body shaking like a fragile leaf.
He has Ty sit her up, gently ordering her to drink the tea and some water. She downs the tea, nose crinkling slightly at the bitter taste. She knew that the sugar could make her stomach become upset, they learned that the hard way.
Willa then reaches to curl up close to Julian, welcoming his cooler body against her burning one. Ty curls both of them into his chest, Willa sandwiched between them. The two rub soothing circles in her skin, murmuring sweet things and soft shushes to her whenever her stomach cramped with nausea.
Julian had to help her up a few times to the restroom to relieve her belly, Ty always waiting with water when they returned. When the light finally poked through the curtains, Julian got up and reluctantly dressed in his clinic clothes. He didn't want to leave his siren when she was ill, but he knew she would be fine with Ty there. Kissing her head, Julian leaves with the promise of checking in around lunch to see how she was feeling.
After another hour and getting up to be sick, Willa finally lulls back to sleep, laying on Ty's chest with his heartbeat thumping in her ear. His voice hummed against her chest when he spoke to her, a soft whisper that she clung to even as she reclined in the arms of the sandman. Ty breaths a sigh of relief when she does, glad for her to be getting more rest.
He continues running his hand up and down her bare back, not letting himself fall back asleep in case she woke up to be sick again.
And that's how Julian finds them when he comes at his lunch.
Curled together lovingly. He joins them, but stays awake to speak quietly with Ty. The air was warm, the sun creating soft shadows on the three. Willa wakes up only after Julian leaves to work again, but is more alert to sit up and recline in Ty's chest.
She asks quietly for her knitting, wanting something to do with her hands with she was awake and not rushing to the restroom. And as Ty retrieves more tea and something light to eat, she knits the scarf promised to Ty himself. Not that he knew.
Stopping, Willa looks up and at the slightly opened window, a light breeze rustling the curtains.
Smiling, she basks in the warmth of the bed she shared with her loves. Julian being his serious doctor self when she fell ill, and Ty being the mother hen. But she wouldn't have it any other way...
Turning, she now smiles at Tiberius. The man was balancing two cups of tea, a plate of toast, and a glass of water with a nothing covering his body.
Giggling, she sets down her knitting and just stares at him.
She wouldn't have it any other way.
