Hi! So I'm 19 and starting ballet as a complete beginner and I thought I'd ask since you're a dancer, which is best: full sole or split sole shoes? Also which are the best dance pants/leggings to wear over a leotard?

i like split sole better because i feel like it gives your feet more mobility. i really like to feeeeel the floor with my feet, you know? i also like canvas shoes better for practicing  because they are just more flexible and let your feet breathe.

ive found that the best pants to wear over a leotard are ones that are spandex. don’t get cotton because they will just cling to your butt where your leotard is and like give you a third ass? very weird. i dont have a brand preference, but i know you can find some good pants on discount dance.
