Welp!! I think I may have ordered the wrong doll body!! I hope they let me change it if I did...if I cant change it, is anyone interested in a Classy Doll 54cm girl body.. :(

Classy doll body?

So does anyone out there have a classy doll body on hand who can tell me about its posing ? I actually really like the aesthetics of it (crazy legs and all) but I've heard the posing is terrible and the legs are useless but I don't know? If it just needs re-stringing and suedeing I can easily do that but if it's bad engineering I don't want anything to do with it.

Aaaaaand she’s done! I’m super happy with how she came out, especially with her chest tattoo. This girl was my last BJD to finish for DollAKon, and here’s a list of everything she comes with:

I hope you all like her! She will be at my table and ready to go to a new home next week, so please visit me in the DollAKon market room to see her in person. ^^

Kay's body and clothes are opened and ready to go! I absolutely love how she looks right now. I mean, her character's still totally up in the air with sculpts and stuff, but I'm pretty content right now. ^^ The Classy Doll body is pretty cute and works well, especially for the price. For my first SD girl (and impulse doll) she's working out exactly how I wanted her to.

Now I just have to wait for my April Story Stella so I can see if I want her body to be switched out and then I can decide on a sculpt choice between the current Practice Head from Doll Family A, April Story Stella, or a Little Monica girl. xD So many choices, but I'm super duper excited to start working on her. <3

Kay's body finally shipped! The package is already on the plane flying over here, so I probably will only have to wait a couple more days for it to clear customs and get up here.

Mom's also going to pick up my package that got delivered after I left and mail it back up to me, so I should have the rest of her clothes before she's finished! :D

What are you looking at?  The Classy Doll built in quick-change system.  (Why do they not brag about this on their page??)  As you see, you can pull the hand away from the wrist, turn the ball 90 degrees and there is a catch built into the wrist just like the S hook rest inside most heads.  The hand can be unhooked and swapped for an optional hand or removed to fit her arm through a tight sleeve.  To put the hand back, rehook it, pull out to free the hook, rotate back to the starting position, feed the hook back through the ball, and it's a normal wrist again.  No tools, no fuss.  Her feet do the same thing.  I am sooooo in love with this body!

Now that I've discovered Classy Doll, my doll plans have been ruined. I still want the same heads I've always wanted, but now I'm scared how they'll look on the Class Doll bodies. ARRGGG!
