Indulge in the bold flavors of a Porterhouse steak marinated in stout beer and topped with a luscious beer butter. Perfect for a BBQ feast with a touch of sophistication.
Ingredients: 1 large Porterhouse steak. 1 cup stout beer. Salt and black pepper to taste. 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped. 1 tsp Dijon mustard. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
Instructions: Place the Porterhouse steak in a shallow dish and pour stout beer over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning the steak halfway through. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. Grill the Porterhouse for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your desired doneness. While the steak is grilling, prepare the beer butter. In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Once the steak is cooked to your liking, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Top the Porterhouse with generous dollops of beer butter, allowing it to melt over the hot steak. Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy the rich flavors of stout-soaked Porterhouse with savory beer butter!
