Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup milk. 1 large egg. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips optional. For the peanut butter glaze:. 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup powdered sugar. 2-3 tbsp milk. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Chocolate sprinkles for decoration optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a donut pan. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, milk, egg, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil until well combined. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. If desired, fold in the mini chocolate chips. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. For the peanut butter glaze, whisk together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dip each cooled donut into the peanut butter glaze and place them back on the wire rack. If desired, sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles while the glaze is still wet.
