It's a-bloomin' at the Getty Center. The generous rain pour we have gotten helped to showcase once again the incredible water features of this Richard Meier masterpiece. Definitely check out the central garden designed by Robert Irwin - it lies in the heart of the Getty Center. The 134,000-square-foot design constantly changes as plants grow, are trimmed, and new plants are added. We have visited numerous times and each visit always offers something new. The view never gets old. Don’t forget to check the changing exhibition and currently they have the work of Bouchardon on display. If you have children, the family room is a good place to sit and relax and let the kiddos touch, maneuver, tinker the many educational features they set up for the little curious minds. There is a bed replica of the polish royal bed for book reading. Picnic overlooking the garden and LA landscape is also a must. Whichever activity you choose, it’s guaranteed you will leave Getty Center #HAPPY!
