UPDATE ON WHAT BURNS BENEATH!

Hey guys!

In short, life is kicking my ass atm. I am approaching the busiest months of the year at my job and I started working overtime, which will continue into the next 3 months or so. Right now, chapter releases will likely not be consistent like they have been as it's becoming difficult to find the mental energy to write this series, socializing with friends irl, and wanting to explore other creative outlets and characters.

While I'm going to try and get chapters out each month, don't be surprised if a month or so is skipped this spring/summer.

Hope this update clears the air some on the silence!

I'm sure Raphael thinks I'm not being ambitious enough, but Corvus is relieved he'll have a little break from the Hell I've put him through already in this series. I'm sure Raphael will spoil him in the meantime.

A WIP of post-Cania Corvus. He went through a lot in my last fic and someone ages ago on ao3 asked about a potential drawing of how he looked now, so here's a little preview. 😈

I'm on a little break from writing fanfics for the year, so I have a little more time to draw now. Trying to enjoy digital art again.

henlo, I'm a semi recent fan of BG3 (took me a long time to get into it) and I got hit by the hammer of loving Raphael too much. Your fics are some of my favorite stuff to read featuring him. Thank you for writing!

It really means the world to me that you enjoy my fics of Raphael. He has by far become my favorite character to write, but has also been the most challenging since I try to keep him as close to canon as possible, especially in my current series with him.

A quick update on my fic Clause For Concern!

I've started writing chapter 1 for part 5 of the series– hooray! However, taking this break over the holidays made me realize how much writing this fic was consuming my free time, so changes are coming with updates.

Instead of biweekly like before, I will be updating monthly from here on out so that I can have time to do other things I love like art, dnd, and other hobbies outside the fandom space. I will try to do updates in the last week of the month unless I get busy or finish a chapter sooner, but my goal is at least 1 chapter per month, near the end of each month.

Thanks for everyone who's stuck around for my fic series on AO3! I'm hoping this gives me more time to actually draw fanart and share here (and hopefully make enough art to stop sharing the same height comparison drawings of Corvus and Raph), but I appreciate everyone who's followed, liked, and interacted with me these last 10-ish months! 🐦‍⬛😈

Will hopefully post the first chapter in the next couple weeks!

Summary: Corvus’ imprisonment in Cania has left him forever changed. Trapped in a body he doesn't recognize and wielding infernal powers that threaten to consume him, Corvus has become Raphael's twisted masterpiece– a consort and champion, forged from Raphael’s own corruption worthy to be at the devil’s side. But while Raphael admires and shapes his beloved to his desires, Corvus can only see what he lost in Cania.

Deep down, rage simmers beneath his skin. The need for vengeance feeds the infernal blood coursing through his veins, and with each passing day, that blood becomes harder to control— until Gortash offers a solution.

At best, it may be Corvus' only relief from the infernal cravings stirring in his soul. At worst, it just may be his final step toward damnation.

A/N: This is a continuing story to my series Clause For Concern! If you are new, you may be able to pick up on context clues what is going on, but there is a lot of context, plot information, and character development that has already occurred from the previous fics that are heavily present in this fic. That being said, some aspects may not make sense jumping straight into this one without having that background, so I highly recommend reading the previous fics before starting this one!

I am piss poor at updating my current fic with these two here, but know some of you following are from ao3, so an UPDATE on Infernal Affairs! (We're on chapter 15/17, for those who look to Tumblr for updates)

The next chapter is taking me a bit longer than usual to write bc the holiday season starting at work has me slammed and there is a lot of getting my ducks in a row to set up the next series.

Some good news though! I now have a beta reader who is helping me work through the next chapter and possibly some in the next series, so hopefully this means I'll be able to write with higher quality for the rest of the series!

There are a lot of things coming up, so while it's taking longer to write, I'm just taking my time making sure everything is written well and not rushed.

Thanks for everyone who has stuck through the series so far! I'm so happy to see a lot of people liking it and being supportive over on ao3.
