Clavuot - Kuoni house, San Nazzaro 2012. Located on a lake prone to flooding, the house is lifted on a series of concrete arms, creating a covered patio which fills with water during the wetter seasons. A pitched concrete base, similar to what you might see in a highway overpass, allows the house to perch delicately on the supports, giving a nautical appearance to the structure as well.
