Draculaura kicked her feet over her dormroom's balcony. She stared out at the murky horizon like it was the strangest thing she'd ever seen. She didn't bother to move as she heard footsteps. She didn't bother as Clawdeen sat down beside her and mimicked her position.

"So what's up with you, ghoul?" She asked with a smirk, "It's your 1600. Shouldn't you be, like, happy or whatever?"

The pink vampire shrugged and squished her cheek against her tricep. "I don't know. I just got to thinking, you know? I'll never be the same again as I was last year, or the year before that. Every year, I'm a whole new person."

The werewolf exhaled loudly. "Ghoul, I think you're thinking too deep about this."

Draculaura giggled. "Yeah, you're probably right."
