One of my favorite things about going home: Food
One of my favorite things about going back to University: Getting to share some of that food with my friends
My Pros of today:
(My friend likes for us to list things that made our day good) Got a job, finished my test, saw a female trumpet soloist, saw Santa play the trombone, got Ted Drewes, AND my mom is making pasties to celebrate my story being published in my university's literary magazine! It's been a REALLY long week but I hope this means things are starting to turn around. And if not then at least I had today.
Fake married with repressed feelings, or fake married and very aware of their own feelings yet oblivious to the others feelings?
Sorry I’m just now getting to this! Definitely fake married with repressed feelings. The aha! moment when they realize they’ve already fallen deep into the hole is always so fun to read. :D Plus, again, the angst....the lovely, lovely angst...
Thank you for the ask! ^^
I'm having a tough time deciding whether to do intro chapters for each of my main characters, as they start in different areas of their world and have different but similar experiences and end up together for the main story, or if I should start with them already together and have them compare notes for their background to be given to the reader. I feel like "flashbacks" would lose a lot of characterization but I don't want to bore readers with too much exposition. What do you think I should do?
Either one could work, but I have to say that I like the intricacy of a story where the characters all start in their own worlds and eventually come together more so than I find myself interested in the idea of them starting out all together, if that makes sense.
