IT’S LONELY AT THE TOP. they both know that, and nowhere is lonelier than the top of hell. unlike the scurrying, scraping, toady hell spawns at lillith’s command, leah is not afraid of the first demon. they are equals, though they serve different functions in god’s plan. as much as she can consider anyone or anything a friend, leah considers lillith one.
