New sculpture time! It's very poignant because the model is Roy, the first person I ever sculpted. Taking a different tack this time, but still going large.
As a bonus, mergo and kismet came out the kiln!
And to celebrate I took mergo to the pub
The gold glaze didn't work but now it's the time to learn how to gold leaf I guess! Or just gold acrylic. But why not gold leaf?
So I suspect Roy might look a little Royetta and his head is at the wrong angle AND I seemingly found a bag of clay with plaster in it somehow which apparently everyone knows is sculpture death even if they've never actually known a sculpture to explode from a tiny shard of plaster and I might have been exhausted BUT...I think today went well.
