Day 178.
Matheson Bay. The Gullies.
I snuck out for an afternoon dive in between work today. It was the last sunny day before the rain arrives tomorrow and the visibility had cleared up. Some days it’s harder to convince myself to put in the effort to ‘wetsuit up’ so I can spend longer in the water, but it continues to surprise me how good I feel when I’m out there and how much there is to see.
I wasn’t 100% ready to come in, but without my dive watch (which needs a new battery) I played it safe and luckily got home just in time for my next session and without chilling down too much.
PS, I think the octopus in this picture is asleep. This is the first photo I took, and after that it opened it’s eyes (back to the familiar white stripes) and started moving it’s rocks around. What a cutie.
