What about Lawless x Mahiru? *^*
Lawhiru my beloved….
Man this one is so underrated. Most Mahiru ships are, but I digress.
Okay so like. WOOF, where to start. I guess with a comparison I’ve made before? Between Mahiru and Ophelia, the similarities are strong. Heart achingly so, even if their motivations are different.
Mahiru, as we’ve seen, will absolutely try to give his life for peace. And I think that’s what pissed Lawless off so much about him at first! Seeing that same innocence, light, and heart in his eyes as he saw in hers. Knowing in his bones that Mahiru was headed down a path of self destruction. It makes for good conflict, but more than that, Lawless’s firsthand experience with that sort of nature means it would be harder for Mahiru to go through with it, if that makes sense? Like… He wouldn’t want to hurt him like that again. Lawless is selfish enough to refuse to let Mahiru go, and selfish enough to let him know it.
As far as personalities go, too, they mesh well!! Despite how annoying he can be (lol), Lawless is actually one of the more responsible and calm Servamps (when no one is winding him up). Not to say that the others are irresponsible, but when it comes to adapting to modern life… Lawless has certainly seemed to do the best at it. He knows how to cook, clean, drive, get a job, manage money, take care of kids… House husband! He’s total house husband material! Sure he might be a little materialistic, but unlike Lily, he knows how to budget—
Mahiru is so bright and sunny and just… A genuinely pleasant person, too, but man is he stubborn! xD After however long dealing with spoiled celebrities, that frankness he possesses as a normal person would probably be refreshing, don’t you think? I also can’t help but feel like Mahiru is such a calming person to be around, Lawless’s walls would fall down without him even noticing. It’s sweet.
