Hi. I am a 7th grade math teacher in TX. I have created a wishlist of items & supplies needed for the upcoming school year. I would greatly appreciate any contributions for my students and their learning environment. https://amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/15QDSLR5IYKZT?ref_=wl_share

School is starting again and with it new challenges. My sister is starting a new adventure this year teaching all Spanish in a dual language classroom after 6+ years of teaching English. Any help is appreciated!
My school board voted unanimously last night on the return to school plan, with parents choosing between 100% remote or 100% in school for elementary students.
In “these unprecedented times”, many teachers are having to pivot from how they usually handle supplies within their spaces. For many teachers (like me) that could translate into a significantly higher amount of personal funds being used to get ready for school this year. In my class space, all supplies are usually shared (and supplied mostly from my hoard of school supplies amassed throughout the years). That is clearly not an option for this year. Because of rules from the school regarding shared supplies this upcoming school year (and just...not wanting my items to be potential disease vectors 😞), many items that would usually be shared supplies among my different push in and pull out small groups throughout the day will need to be individual supplies for each student.
I have an amazon wishlist, in case anyone would like to support my space, my students, and me. I am a special education teacher in a very diverse and close knit title I school. This year, I will be with kindergarten and first grade.
I’m starting my 6th year teaching this year & wanting to grow my classroom library.. it needs more modern/diverse literature.. as well as get school supplies donated to my classroom. Last year, I had so many books donated, and it really made my heart happy to have books the students would actually pick to read. I also loved that I had binders/folders on standby, just ready to give to a child in need. Their whispered “thank you, Mrs. Goodman” really made me teary a few times 🥺
Hey friends! I’ve gotten a @donorschoose project started and I would love your help either in donating or spending the word! For the next 7 days they will match all donations (up to $50) with the code LIFTOFF! If you donate $1 it becomes $2 automatically! $5 becomes $10, $10 becomes $20, $20 becomes $40, $40 becomes $80 and $50 becomes $100! I have the link saved in my profile!
