WE GOT THE OKAY.

Okay so it's been a while since I've actually posted anything personal besides instagram photos. BUT WE GOT THE OK FOR THE CLEFT PALATE REPAIR SURGERY! 😄🎉 Hazel is in the 4.8th percentile for weight, coming in at a whopping 13lbs at six months 😅 but she was in the negatives at her three months visit so the surgeon is very pleased with her progress and is comfortable scheduling her surgery for October! She'll be 11 months instead of 12-14 months like they were projecting at the three month visit. I can schedule an actual date in July. I am relieve and anxious and scared and happy all at the same time. I know there are more obstacles to come but, I'm excited that this big one will be behind us.

I should be getting the call any time now about when Hazel’s surgery is going to be. I’m low-key (high-key) freaking out. My baby, on her first birthday, is going under for major oral surgery. She’s not going to be my happy silly little disaster girl for a few days. 😔
