«The need to belong somewhere. The requirement to find a new stability, when we travel to different cities and country. The costant search of a place of one’s own, where you can feel home. Clelia Rainone explores all these suggestions in the exhibition Counting Waves in the Dark, meterialising her urges in the photos and showing us the way to overcome them. In addition to that, the photos of Rainone are part of an inquiry on the life of the objects that analyses how we perceive these objects and their relations with other objects (where object means literally anything - a mailbox, a cat, a shadow, spacetime - as explained in Graham Harman’s Metaphysics of Objects)».
