One place that makes me happy and why: a cafe/organic grocery/wine store on the corner of a street where my friend lives and I love to go there 1. Because the mochas are so good they don't need any sugar added 2. Because it is mellow and smells like aging wood 3. I live in San Francisco and it is cloudy and on the verge of raining all the time (but it never does) and I love the suspense of it all 4. There is a little table in which past customers have written and left little notes ranging from a romantic lost love note to a summary of the vacation of some German tourists passing through to a drawing of hands. It's beautiful.
