Florence needed a cuppa. A strong one. She hadn’t been sleeping well, even her creatures knew, Churro had barely left her side anytime Florence was home — today however, home wasn’t an option. She was busy with the foundation, answering questions following the send out of invites to the fundraiser. She was absently stirring her tea and dreading going back outside into the cold when she recognized a figure in the shop.

A pleasant chime from the bell above the door announced Ariadne’s arrival to the flower shop, colored brilliantly in the front windows, and smelling wonderful as she entered. For a moment, she paused, eyes taking in the blossoms and arrangements with a small smile, before continuing forward to the counter. She was, quite clearly, solo that afternoon, her black bag hanging from her shoulder as she leaned into the counter slightly. A deeper smile crept across her red-stained lips and Ari gave a little wave.

“Well, Peter would not be bothered to come with, so it is just me stopping in. But, as promised, I am here,” She told the familiar brunette manning the store, pleased her guess had been correct and she’d caught Clementine there. Ari had always had a knack for being lucky in most situations. Part of her visit was selfish, keen to discover what thoughts the quieter girl would have; after all, hadn’t Ari all but accused her of being a witch, point blank? No matter what, the visit should turn out to be interesting, despite the result. “How have you been doing?”
