Gonna talk more about them as children but I think the Clutch coming into Em’s backyard and then either one of her parents finding her and telling her “You can’t freely come into people’s property.” Whole Clutch is just standing there like :) while most times Em’s mom is like, “I swear do you parents who are literally rich look after you?” but I like to think that there’s a bit of reason towards it. In my little one shot I wrote I stated that Clutch scared kids off from her hyperactive behaviors which also at school (this takes place modern day) she gotten bullied by a small group of boys at her school for her being hyperactive due to her having ADHD and in that, Clutch felt isolated and to the point she’d rather just stay home.

But Em made her realize that “Wait, they don’t dislike me?” But really didn’t her yet until like they really did meet at school so neither of their parents would intervene and be like “What are you doing here? Go away,” and send them back to their respective parents and tell them how tf either Em or Clutch got on either of their properties.

OH MY GOODNESS. absolute feral behavior right here and good on Em and Clutch for finding each other at school otherwise that would’ve been an entire other situation they had to deal with. but I can imagine them meeting first when Clutch accidentally finds her way into Em’s yard but then when they see each other at school—

SKDNMFFN off topic but this situation of kid randomly popping up on your property reminds me of that time me and my friends went to this beach for a few days and we bought this beach house, right, but we had separate houses and because I wanted to spend all day with my friends, I would sneak over at the crack of dawn and wait by their porch every time. and every morning, when their parents came downstairs to cook breakfast and yadda yadda, they would always see me standing by the porch and go ‘wtf why does this girl keep on appearing’ like they knew me and their kid were friends but HDJDJD they didn’t know I kept on coming over and how I kept on appearing.
