I'm immensely grateful to everyone that came out to GROWN WOMAN: Clench & Release Season 2 Screening last night. Clench & Release is just a little 8 episode series, but it's taken a village to get it done and has taught me so much. I couldn't of done any of it without the vision and dedication of season 1 director Rakesh Baruah and season 2 director J.j. Adler. Each time, the directors took what I wrote and elevated the project without watering it down, like great directors do. All the crew that worked in January and February's bitter cold and snow for season 2 (like Peter Fackler the DP, andRob Garcia the british sound guy), the friends that came out to be extras even if they had no lines or real camera time (like Iliana Inocencio, Amanda Seales,Kerryn Feehan, Monique Moses and Alex Haynes) the people that woke up at the crack of dawn to do a scene, the people that punched up jokes, the countless editing sessions, the friends that didn't even ask what the project was about when I asked them to do it (like Mike Brown) they were just down to do it because they trusted me. I feel lucky to work with so many smart and funny people (like Kevin Iso, Gary Richardson, Kareem Green, Petey DeAbreu, James Ill and literally everyone else that was in the series or helped with it). There are literally too many of you to name but you know who you are.
