I am taken aback by this news. . First was Lorenzo Delpani CEO of @revlon had a shady racist comment against Women of Color. . Now? Revlon huge financier Ron Perelman is donating over $600K of money to Trump. It’s his money he could donate to whoever he wants...BUT...a majority owner of a company that profits from the sales of products to women support an admitted sexual predator of women shocks me. Just because you two are friends? . Let me repeat it again. A company that is made for women is supporting a sexual predator. Think twice before putting in your hard earn cash to this company. Fact - Trump admitted on the Howard Stern Show and in the Access Hollywood tapes that he pushes himself on women without their consent and that is a SEXUAL ASSAULT. . I think this brings up a really important societal issue that has been running rampant, and that as a society we use women to make a profit but don't actually care about them as human beings and individuals. It's absolutely absurd that a MAJOR cosmetic company whose target audience is largely women(as beauty is a largely female industry), has a huge financier who donates to a known sexual offender. So the women his company markets to and profits from are good enough to make him money, but not good enough to stand up for when it comes to supporting someone who is known to exhibit that kind of behavior towards women? . It’s about supporting and empowering women everywhere...something this beauty industry has a large voice in. We need to do better as a society and it starts by not supporting those monetarily or otherwise who act this way. I am not going to not spend my money nor support Revlon.
