Kira’s Poetry Corner
Today I was faced
With choices almost to hard to make
Lose what I find most precious to me
Or put so many lives at stake
A few options were given
Most of which were money driven
And while I understand
The task that is as hand
I cannot bring myself to choose
The sentiment of which I’d lose
Faeris my guide, my friend
A father and teacher to no end
He made this for me
Helped me know who I wish to be
And for that Im eternally grateful
Is choosing my way at all shameful?
I do not wish for disappointment in me
Without it how can I help the other three?
How can I connect with my home
Stop me from feeling so alone?
I feel my heart would surely break
But today I was faced
With an impossible choice to make
