But if I have a product I promote on Clickbank, and I have a big email list, for instance in the Health and Fitness niche and I have I know 10 affiliates in the fitness niche who have got a massive-scale email list and they know I make a big JV launch: Instantaneously on the launch period, the gravity is going to shoot up because you've got 10 parties promoting for me but it doesn't tell you how well that marketings page is converting.
You will find many factors to determine if it is a profitable product to promote.
So gravity is important, but it tells not everything. If you are starting out, look at CB Engine.
Take a look at the high selling offers. The offers that sell the most and have the highest conversions are one of the 3 niches: Make Money Online (MMO), Health and Fitness and Dating and Romance. But you don't want to use the main niche, but a sub-niche of that. So for MMO, you can choose Social Media Marketing. In health and fitness, you can choose for instance for self-help, and so on. You look at a product that has a well-established vendor, has a super high gravity. Then you are going to look at congruent products.
An Example
We take an example in the Dating and Romance niche. We look at the sub-niches and take a super high gravity product. In this example, we choose (just a random example) "Tao of badass". Now we search for products that are congruent with this product, for instance, "how to get your ex back" (extremely profitable) with businesses that are well known but have a lower gravity. You will find tons of products you can promote. You look at the sales page and choose a gravity between 30 and 80 But what about the products that have little sales? just ignore them?
Nope...... Here comes another opportunity.
Product vendors are often no marketers. So they launch a great product, but the sales page is just bad. They have no funnel in place etc. So if you think you find a good product, but the sales page is bad, you can contact the vendor and ask "Can I make my own sales page, because I use techniques that are not available on the sales page, and I want to differentiate myself from the other affiliates." OR you show them the sales page of "Tao of badass" As soon as you make some sales, the vendor will come back to you and you can make a deal to create the right sales page. You will ask for a review copy, and if the sales go up, you both make a lot of money.

There is a huge increase in selling over Clickbank in 2019. This has to do with the fact that Paypal is closing accounts on a massive scale.
Platforms like JVZoo Warrior Plus, Zaxaa and Paykickstart rely on PayPal to do their processing.
However, you can you use other platforms as well, even get paid to your bank account directly, and use PayPal on Clickbank. This is a huge advantage, not only for vendors but for affiliates as well.
When I talk with partners, they are moving back to Clickbank on a large scale.
The thing is that Paypal is closing accounts for no reason, and they don't feel entitled to give you any reason.
It has hit me, as well as other marketers in this business as well.
The lesson learned in this is (Again) not to focus on one platform, but always diversify.
