I learned today that there are rules about public art, for how far it can stick out from a wall. Not because people will bump into it, but because people will climb it.
As someone who tried to climb the fridge at age two, I’m not exactly surprised.
“If your spaceship has footprints up near the ceiling, you might have some humans onboard.”
Had one of those days that started out really good
(had coffee on the balcony! confirmed with landlord I’m allowed to have a cat! finished deep cleaning apartment!)
and then just took a little bit of a mood nosedive
(you know those days when you go to the gym and literally every single person is like...over six foot, and super built, and wearing perfectly coordinated lululemon workout clothes, and has perfect form and never gets chalk on them somehow? okay that last part was climbing gym specific but that’s essentially how I felt. and we got there late so it was really, really crowded and I just kept falling on my ass and none of the top rope routes that I can do were available and just...everything felt off.)
So I’m going to go take a really long shower and make some dumplings and watch Kitchen Nightmares and see how we’re feeling then
who’s at the gym doing this with me message me immediately

wait wait wait about that drama class text post are you the 'Lexi' that is mentioned twice?
……..maybe
Imagine
Your OTP, one’s camera shy, the other is all about photography, and the debates and shenanigans that ensue because of it.
Who would be the photographer?
How would they attempt to take photos of the other?
saw some really large rocks today, thought of you fondly (and climbed on a couple for good luck). hope you're doing well <3
I hope your climbing adventures bring you a strong grasp for life and all the luck of high places! Today I accidentally found the back garden of a 17th century cathedral and read a book on a train from London back to Edinburgh and thought a lot about choices and identity and friends-who-are-family-and-feel-like-home. It’s been an alright day. :)
