Trip to Swanage Hedbury Quarry.
What a amazing day that was. Some great climbs. Learned more about trad climbing, hike there was amazing, weather spot on and atmosphere was great. So happy to be part of Herts and Essex Climbing club. Hope that this hobby grows and grows for me. Next step for me is to get actual quickdraws for sports climbing and practice more leading indoors. If you starting to climb outdoors then Swanage definitely have some great and easy climbs to start with. On the day my self I did for the start an easy 3 called Sea View by the edge of the cliff, then 5a Moral Flexibility, 4c Tethered by Gravity, 5c Goddam Sexual Tyrannosaurus, 6a+ Amonitemare and 6b Of Mice and Man. I've tried 6c+ Bad Day which had an awesome start but after I kept on falling off and it was time to go. Maybe next time.
