Hey! This is a great blog, but when you're recruiting mods again, please please consider choosing someone who is hard of hearing but not deaf. Those of us in this realm - we live in both the hearing and deaf worlds without being accepted by either, and there are very few resources for us, and fewer people still who will stand up for us. Thanks for all you are doing!

... I should probably change the about me page. 

I am actually hard of hearing (i have some hearing left, I communicate orally and I use hearing aid), so there are mods who are not deaf on this page. I wrote “deaf”  in my about me section, but I meant it as a general term for person with hearing loss, not as “completely deaf person who can’t hear anything” term.

I updated the about me page so it’s more accurate.

Also, we will strive for diversity when choosing new mods, as we are aware that there are many types of deafness. However, right now, we get a very low number of questions, so three mods are more than enough. :)
