I found a friend today. This little anole fell out of some iron on a truck I was helping unload today. I scooped it up so nothing would happen to it and I’d release it in some grass in a safe area. Well our job site is like a prison inside another huge site so I couldn’t walk it to safety. I poked some holes and put it in a bottle for a couple hrs till I finished my shift. I let it out so he could chill on my arm instead of the bottle and now it won’t leave. I tried to release it when I got to the hotel and it would not get off my hand. I literally was pushing it off my hand and it would just run around the other side of my hand and sink in between my fingers. After a few minutes I put it back on my shoulder and it’s been asleep on me since the sun went down and didn’t even want to go into the ice dish that’s on its side. Usually I would just return it to the wild as it’s a wild animal. BUT I don’t know where the truck of iron came from. I’m in Mississippi and I don’t think it is from here either so I think we are going to road buddy it for awhile. #anole #greenanole #superadorbs #cuterthengeico #clingyrelationships #ironworkisfunmmmkay #nokidsadopt? #wtf #imokwithit (at Pascagoula, Mississippi) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp52NjUFbQY/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1sd4msy5n2jzo
