➤ check …it’s simon blackquill’s funky little bird. or you could say simon blackquill is this bird’s slightly less funky and far less little human. you know that his name is taka despite never having been properly introduced.

➤ examine … the bandana taka is wearing calls up some memories. it almost looks like someone took a  piece from a convict’s suit and resew it into a fashionable accessoiry for this bird. ( simon seems to be nostalgic about the oddest things ).

➤ take … you have a feeling taka may not appreciate that.

➤ use … perhaps you could bribe him into relaying a message to simon. not like you have any birdfood on you, though. you try with a cup of coffee and watch the bird’s head turn and form an inscrutable expression. is this … disgust?
