He's my soul brother, he can do anything | Dot & Clive
Dot set down her quill, finished sending passive aggressive owls to her siblings. She wasn’t even sure Addie would get hers, wherever she was. It served them all right for leaving her to deal with Katie and Oliver all by herself. Of course she loved it when the parental figures were home, at least then someone was around. She had even taken to talking to Spunk when she came around and helping her out in the kitchen. It was actually quite fun following a free elf around all day, she was learning a lot about her life. Still, Dot was lonely and it was the worst feeling in the world to be alone.
That didn’t matter anymore though, she was now cleaning up her mess from the day and getting ready to go see her older brother Angus. They hadn’t gotten the opportunity to hang out much since she came home from school and he moved in with his beautiful wifey Chloe. He told her a few weeks ago that he had acquired a puppy and she was overly excited to meet the, presumably adorable, animal. Clive had wanted a dog since before she could recall, so she was super happy that he finally fulfilled his dream. Dot wondered about getting a cat once, but figured it would die from neglect when she went away to school or visit family. Maybe she could get a cat and get a catsitter for when she left. That was something she would have to investigate further when she got home from this adventure.
Dot scrawled out a note for Katie and Oliver, then grabbed her wand, bag, and slipped on her shoes before exiting the house. She apparated somewhere near Angus and Chloe’s house, at proper glance she found out she was still a couple places down from where she was supposed to be. While walking to the correct house she wondered if Chloe actually did bake something. She licked her lips, hoping it was something sweet. Once at the door, she debated on knocking. At Grayson’s she never had to knock but those rules didn’t apply everywhere. While thinking it over she looked around the yard, they had a very nice lawn. It was something that probably took a lot of work to keep so pretty. Finally, she knocked on the door, having stood on their doorstep long enough. Angus could correct her if she had done something out of the ordinary.
