" really ? " maryse asks as she stares down at her study material. all she's doing is helping tandy out, but it's just as beneficial for her. " all i'm doing is body - doubling you. it's supposed to help productivity, to have someone else studying at your side. it's why study groups work so well in the first place. " still, she can't deny that studying with tandy is more helpful than any of her other college friends. it's more fun, exciting, what with the amount of snacks and drinks they have at their disposal, and the ability for maryse to say whatever she wants without having the fear of sounding insane or stupid ; a refreshing change of pace.
maryse actually found herself performing well in classes she actually might not have otherwise. " i don't know, maybe you have that magic presence in me, too. i've been doing well in my math classes so far since we've started studying together. "
