I have a question about the CM au and I hope it's not too weird but I got curious, what's the Pleasure Tail?

The pleasure tails in the CMAU are tails designed to give Jack sexual pleasure as he wears them. In other words it will send vibrations to his penis and into his ass or even cause slow suction to said areas, as well as penetration. It is designed to sexually please him if he performs for Hiccup well in either tail performance or in swimming or performing in Hiccup’s show to display him. It’s a reward system though not all of the pleasure tails will allow Jack to have an orgasm, only tease him and deny him release. All of his pleasure tails do have orgasm denial features I think.

Metal was what the city was made from. It ran on clogging smoke and cloying smog, and though the steam itself was fairly clean, it was poisoned by years of rust that clung to it and fed it into the air. The sludgeulous decay festered through the city as people went about their days like rats. Only the wealthy could afford real plants and animals- even the birds ran on clockwork and to his left there lie a tree made entirely out of beautifully rusting copper. Everything was decorated in colours much the same as the dying surroundings, save for the fair young man who stood on the balcony clutching the most beautiful of two fine, and perfectly real roses; and whom, might it be said, held a face fairer than even that of the Lord of the Estate.

Toothiana, the an Arabian Princess from some far off land beyond the edge of the sea where the world ends, she traveled in an entire Caravan Entourage when she met Hiccup. He found her beauty something beyond the world of mortal man- he dreamed heavily of her beauty being so radiant and her voice so fair that she descended from the skies above- and from that moment he knew she simply must be a bird.

CMAU: On the topic of death

I have been asked if anyone is going to die in the story and while it is a good idea, Kit and I are still walking between the line of yes and no. We haven't decided yet and this is why:

If Jack were to die, I think Hiccup would probably kill himself where he stood. He has nothing in the world that matters to him except Jack, and so if Jack left, he would fall apart faster than he could think. He might even think of it as joining him in something so beautiful as death.

Jack on the other hand, is much more complicated because he would be MISERABLE if Hiccup left, but he has to stick around because he cannot abandon Emma. He would be so guilty if he did and knows he would never rest in peace until he knows she is safe and happy. Which may never happen. 

So he would be stuck in a wheelchair with the title of husband to the wealthiest man in the entire city. He would have to take up the role Hiccup had before and he knows he has not the knowledge or drive to do so. So he would probably stay secluded- mournful in black constantly. He would probably give all the money Hiccup owned to the destitute and to his sister, then keep himself living on very little and secluded. 

But it is really hard to say what all he may do.

Hiccup and Jack's relationship

Some people are confused about Jack and Hiccup's relationship in the Clockwork Manipulation AU. They think Hiccup and Jack's relationship is based on a solid lie for some kind of gain and that is simply not the case.

So, to clear some things up, I thought I'd explain their relationship a bit better. Kit can help explain things, but this is my take on it. A few spoilers for CMAU below, but not many.

The thing about CMAU is that Hiccup DOES love Jack, and if his insanity wasn't in the way, it would have been an amazingly SWEET story of him rescuing Jack from poverty and giving him the lavish riches of high society. He loves Jack to no ends! Even when he has taken his legs and replaced them with metal, he still loves him. He cares for him, feeds him, holds him close and runs fingers softly through his hair. He lies on the rug in front of the fireplace and kisses his neck, reads stories to him and sings him to sleep. He stays by his side when he is ill and massages him after a performance or a long day in one of the painful tails. He makes sweet, passionate love to him under the thin blanket of stars past the smog and has picnics with him in his biosphere.

He decorates him in jewels and bangles because he loves him and wants to show him. He has done terrible things, yes, but he is still terribly smitten. Why does he not give Jack legs? He wants him to be dependent on him because a small tiny part of him fears Jack will leave, and he has separation issues since his mother's death. He can't handle the idea of Jack abandoning him. So even though he does the reward system, even though he gives Jack tails of pleasure and tails of combat, even though he experiments, and even though he is abusive in his crazed way, all of it, ALL OF IT is, in his mind, for Jack's sake.

He has this desperate urge to show him he loves him by perfecting him; by giving him better, faster, and more efficient tails. He sees the world as imperfect and Jack as his perfect muse in an imperfect world. But even his muse is not complete without mechanical parts. After all, his mother's murder right before his eyes shattered his psyche and twisted it. People are not the BEST they can be unless they are combined with the science of machinery. 

And that is why Jack has the most attention, the most tails, the most changes. After Hiccup 'improved' the others, he left them as they were. He lost interest because he did not have feelings for them. Even Astrid, he did not have feelings like that- not this strong. So he left them alone. They stayed to work for him out of the shame of being tricked or other such reasons, but he did not care either way. Jack is the only one he has ever paid his much attention and respect to.

And Jack eventually realizes this...

Because before Jack ever had his legs removed he had fallen deeply in love with Hiccup, the man who was kind and caring and saved him and his sister. And even though he felt betrayed and a sense of hatred, the kindness never stopped- Hiccup STILL doted on him, still cared for him, fed him, clothed him, loved him. He constantly told him he was beautiful even as he caressed metal scales and plates. He constantly told him that he was perfect, that he was loved and treasured for his flaws and his imperfections.

And Hiccup told him his legs were taken for his own good for SO long that eventually the love, the care, the kindness really does get to him and he starts to believe it too. If his sister ever woke and found him he would probably refuse to leave of his own will. He sees Jack as his savior in a way and a misunderstood genius. 

And yes, Hiccup shows him off. Gives him tails that turn him primal and savage but Jack can't help but to agree to it. He begins to see it as a way into Hiccup's heart he never knew before- Hiccup is just so PROUD of him when he shows off his tails, when he performs for them, and the thing about Hiccup is he has a natural aura about him that makes people want to do things for him. That is how he stays so rich- he is not invested in his company at all. He could care less. But people do as he says because they desire his approval. It's just a strange thing about Hiccup that makes him come off as so charming.

When they tango and Hiccup goads him on by enticing him through flirting halfheartedly with other guests it is because he wants to see him riled up. When he is his most expressive, when he shows his most natural, primal instincts, Hiccup sees Jack for what he is and finds him beautiful that way. Openness is something Hiccup loves because he can;t stand liars. Has he lied? No, he has withheld some truths. 

It's a complicated and strange relationship, but Jack's jealousy is thick- Once he has made up his mind that he loves Hiccup he does not ever want Hiccup to leave him and Hiccup constantly dances around to prove that he will never ever stop loving him if Jack stays. 

So they fight-Hiccup creates tails that are deliberately dangerous to test Jack's resolve and goads him on. He makes him attack to see if Jack will do it- and each time jack cannot because Hiccup is his world. He is his life and he can't help but love him, no matter his crazed deeds. 

Jack's family was wealthy, but his parents died in a terrible accident when he was young and his sister was just a baby. He has been in the slums for so long trying to keep her safe, to care for her and to keep her protected. He is overly responsible and duty-bound. But he has known hardships most have not known. He begged for food a lot when he was young and stayed starved for a long time because his sister needed the food. When she fell ill, he had no choice but to give all his wages to keep her alive. He worked two, three, sometimes four odd jobs a day to keep her alive because she is all he has left and he loves her so much. 

He is so unused to kindness and gentleness because the slums are filled with brutish people- Jack is not unused to being physically abused before. Many of his employers would lash him if he did not work quick enough. It is why he is a fast learner and why he can handle so many horrible things. 

You will find the underlying theme of this entire story is that love comes in many shapes and can lead to many ends, not always good. Hiccup would do anything to make Jack perfect to show him he loves him. Jack would accept anything from Hiccup to show he loves him. He would do anything for his sister to keep her safe because he loves her, and if Emma were awake, she would do anything to save her brother because she loves him. 

The second underlying theme to this story is the separation of the castes and politics. Hiccup is the most wealthy of the town and runs it even though he is not the authority figure. the Mayor does whatever he wants. Money talks after all. And in this dystopia steampunk world, chaos is everywhere. 

I REALLY hope this clears up some stuff!

Threw in come colour overlays because I could. I like to think Hiccup has a pool somewhere in his biosphere that leads to Jack's tank so he can watch him swim and let him out into it etc. I also imagine it is beautiful and surrounded in plants, draping sheers and beautiful fire-lit lamps.
