"Do you hear that?"
"Oh, don’t mind that. That poor blue-haired lad can’t swim properly. Not a problem, sire."
The Northern District market was bustling as always; Link could hear them even now, the carriage he had driven parked in the royal stables. He'd wanted to utilize the new automobile - now that the ranch had one - but Talon had thrown a fuss at the mere mention of it. "Go show off my horses!" he'd roared. "I ain't diddlin' down in a motorvehicular!"
Sighing, Link moved to pick up the first box when a guard stopped him. "You there!" the guard called. "Is this the shipment from Lon Lon?"
"Of course," Link forced a smile onto his face and a pleasant tone into his voice. There was only one ranch in New Hyrule.
"She can't be here," the guard said curtly, pointing at Malon.
"Ah, don't get your knickers in a twist, mate," Link protested. "She came here with me, I was hardly going to drop her at the side of the road like a newspaper."
"She can't be here," the guard repeated, narrowing his eyes. Link sighed, but Malon was already walking away, turning to wave with a smile on her face. Sighing, Link gripped the first box tightly in his arms as he walked towards the kitchens. The sooner he was done here, the better.
Seasons Morals
Seasons - Malon practically grew up in the outdoors. Her favorite weather is those the hot, summer days where you can smell the rain before it gets there. Spring is a busy time, there’s so many new foals bein’ born that the Ranch is pretty lively. Fall weather is the best weather for sittin’ on the roof with a bottle of milk and honey. She’s never been exactly fond of the cold winter brings, but sitting by the fire with Talon and Link is a nice way to end a long hard day.
Morals - Malon has very strong moral integrity. She loves to love and has a very gentle sense of judgement. She thinks even the worst people must have some good in them. (Sometimes that gets her in trouble.)
