Cay Caulkers get to be about 5 foot and Nics get to be about 4 and both are awesome BCI. I like boas so much more than pythons so I’m pretty biased :X
I've had Cays recommended to me and also Hog Islands, but didn't know Nics were smallish too! I'll have plenty to research then before I decide. I like the look of boas and the ones I've interacted with were definitely winners, but I don't know much about them yet. Thanks for the rec!
To me it all depends on general temperament, feeding response, and availability CB. Then on the prettiness of the markings or various morphs and ease of keeping.
I'm just a little afraid to add a BCI or BCC until the exotic bans settle down a bit. I don't want to be stuck making a hard choice with an animal that I've grown to love.
