So since our dear Commander is a grump, I wonder what his hugs scale would be? Maybe at the beginning it’s low, like 8/10...but then he gets practice and it goes up to 11

Hugs from Jesse to Kooks! I used your PFP for the you in this, hope that’s ok...

So Jesse would hug from out of nowhere. He doesn’t seem like a hugger but when he gives hugs you know he means it and he’d come up to you and shove you in front of him, looking very concerned and sincere, then smoosh you so close. It’d be one of those almost too tight but you know there’s love there kind of hugs!

Kix is a healer so I think his hugs would be full of extra care and niceness, he wants to make sure you’re feeling ok before he releases the hug, but also knows the exact right amount of time to hold the hug 🤗

Wrecker would be a big ol’ blanket of a hugger, and he’d probably just carry you around for a bit while he does tasks cuz he wants to make sure you’re ok, but he’s also a commando and needs to get stuff done

So I want to thank you again for this hug! But I noticed you've been scoring the hugs since then and I wanted to know what Rex's hug rating is 👀👀

Oh my ok oh my Rex. Rex Rex Rex hugs, I wanna say he’s the ultimate hug goal because I don’t know how fast and loose he is with his hugs, which make them even more special imho.

It’s not that he’s hug-averse, no no. It’s more that he just doesn’t think about it as something someone would want from him. He’s an amazing leader and captain, he cares so much about everyone and everything he does but he would never assume that someone wants affection from him cuz he’s, he’s just awkward and I think shy in the affection/sharing his emotions thing (just basing this off the whole handing Ahsoka the helmet with her markings on it and when Kenobi waves at him when he’s covering for Anakin)

Which means he has hug energy stored up for daysssss...which translates into the coziest hug you could imagine. Somehow he is not awkward in his hugging (just everywhere else haha). He knows exactly how long to hold the hug, where to position his head and hands, and it’s just nice. Guaranteed mood booster.

Once he discovers that yes, in fact, people do want hugs from him, he sets up (rare) office hours for troops to come by for a hug.
