(Also Also, I just couldn't see him willingly hug anyone, besides Omega. I dont really see Hunter and Cross doing that either, but Tech was their Batchmate, so I'd imagine they would make an exception.)

Here’s some Doc questions, to answer (Or not! No pressure!!)

1. What inspired Doc as a character?

2. What is Doc’s biggest flaw?

3. What is your favorite moment with Doc?

4. Doc has thirsted over everyone in the Bad Batch (ummm me too, girl!!). Who would she be MOST physically attracted to and why?

5. Who does Doc feel the safest with when paired up in a firefight?

6. Who gives Doc the best hugs?

Oooo!!! This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for last night! (Sorry, I passed out before getting this)

What inspired Doc as a character?

She was actually based on a character I rp’d as with some of the Star Wars muns on here pretty much back when I first joined Tumblr, an amazing introduction to this site that totally started by accident, and her character just kinda came into existence. That being said, she’s definitely loosely based on me – medical background, major ankle injury, hopeless clone simp, etc etc.

2. What is Doc’s biggest flaw?

This was a very fun question! I’d say her biggest flaw is definitely a total lack of foresight. She’s extremely passionate about things in the moment but really fails to think ahead – from throwing caution to the wind when she first started helping injured clones with her late partner, to starting shit with Crosshair, to trying to force “appropriate” recovery times onto Hunter. That’s kind of why Hunter intimidated her so much in the beginning.

My husband just added “We’re over here playing checkers, and she’s making a jelly sandwich!” Which… yes… but Wrecker was hungry…

3. What is your favorite moment with Doc?

I’ve been thinking about this all morning… This is a very hard thing to answer. I think her ranting with Tech way back in Touch Starved is still some of my favorite dialogue, but her interactions with Wolffe have such a major backstory that I’m really the only one who knows, so they’re incredibly precious and heartbreaking to me.

Her teasing Crosshair relentlessly before they got together is also some of my favorites though, like “Ask me nicely and maybe I’ll show you” in Hunter’s Touch Starved and “Thanks, dear” in Difficulty Breathing.

I'm super curious though: what's your favorite scene??

4. Doc has thirsted over everyone in the Bad Batch (ummm me too, girl!!). Who would she be MOST physically attracted to and why?

Physically… Yeah, mostly Hunter. Though back on the lake on Devaron, shirtless Wrecker definitely held her attention a bit too closely. That being said, when she’s on missions with Echo and he’s being all “Mr Arc Trooper War Hero”… mmm

5. Who does Doc feel the safest with when paired up in a firefight?

Echo. It used to me Hunter, but things keep going wrong when they’re together, whereas Echo kinda takes the best of all the others and rolls it up into a ball of shockingly level-headed chaos.

6. Who gives Doc the best hugs?

“Best” is far too encompassing a term. Wrecker gives the best hugs on a consistent basis. Like, she can always ask him for a hug and it’ll always be perfect. Hunter’s hugs aren’t nearly as common, and would be kinda awkward if she just asked for one (he’d get a bit stiff and uncertain if it was out of nowhere), but when she really needs them, his hugs are warm and too tight in the best ways. Echo also doesn’t really hug frequently, but when he does, he does it with his entire being – he’ll practically pull her onto his lap if they’re sitting, prosthetics be damned, and he gets so caught up in the emotion behind it, he’ll accidentally steal little temple kisses which is just everything. Tech… I don’t actually think he’s even given her a hug yet... (fever-induced fear/pain clinging notwithstanding). She’s hugged him a couple times, but not the other way around. Just means it’ll be all the better when it finally happens. Aaaaaand then there’s Crosshair. His hugs are the most complex. Sometimes they feel like he’s hiding something – anxiety or fear or, well, he wouldn’t really try to hide lust anymore, but you get the picture; sometimes they feel forced, like he’s trying to placate a tense situation. Sometimes they’re perfect, and it's like the love that most folks gave up on ever finding.

I kinda wanna hug Jesse and Fives they seem like huggers and so does Rex

Bby you’re absolutely right. Jesse and Rex specifically gotta give the best comforting secure loving affectionate hugs ever. Their shoulders so big and broad and they’re so strong they can lift and hold you just like you’d need.

Fives is much more smothering like he’s a deep, passionate loving and consuming hugger. You’re getting lost in that embrace and he is too. It’s much deeper than Jesse and Rex’s shielding protective style hugs.

Would you willing to draw a hug between Yara and Nuts, @itsstrangelypermanent and my baby clones? They’re both very young, and go through some traumatic stuff. They could very much use a hug. Yara is part of Halo, my own made up company (armor looks like the 212th but teal) and Nuts is Wolfpack ^^

The first time Fives does something needlessly dangerous, or the first time Echo notices at least, he's beyond upset and he knows better but he can't help but take it out on Fives because what if he had gotten /killed/? Fives is terrified because he doesn't know what he did wrong and Echo is yelling at him when Echo /never/ yells at him. And now he's screwed everything up and everyone's going to hate him. He start crying and that's when Echo realizes what he's been doing and tries to apologize.

I imagine that’s the face he’d make riiiiight before he starts crying in front of Echo. Who immediately thinks, “Oh no, what have I done,” and he’s really sorry, very sorry, but Fives is already getting underway with a nervous break-down, so it’s too late to calm him.

Echo just has to ride it out with him, hugging Fives around the shoulders and pulling him close while he sobs. And Fives is bawling so hard it feels like he’s going to fall apart, so Echo just has to hold him tighter and gently rock him back and forth until he eventually quiets down.

Echo assures Fives that he doesn’t hate him, and that he’s not mad at him either. He was terrified that Fives would be wounded or killed, and that’s why he yelled. He just doesn’t want anything to happen to him - Echo would never forgive himself if it did.

And little teary-eyed, puppy-dog Fives would just stare at him for a moment, before finally latching onto Echo and hugging him tightly, promising he’d try to be more careful from then on.

I know we have refs of our man Alpha-17, but for some reason he seems like he’d have a faux-hawk to me, idk :D He’s also a large mac like Wrecker and his hugs would just be those kinds that completely envelope you and are just warm and cozy.
