I just want to make homemade cookies with Tup 🥺☺️ Sweet Tup needs more love for sure!

Tup did not really like shopping, but today was different. Today was a special trip to the store. You had both meticulously selected three types of cookies to bake and were specifically there to buy the ingredients.

Once home, you started by making the dough for the cookies that had to be frozen before being cut and baked. Then you made the dough for one type of drop cookie. Those were Tup's favorites to make because they were so simple to make but the reward in eating them was great. Sometimes you could hear him say "boop" when he dropped the dough from the spoon on to the baking sheet. He didn't even realize he was doing it.

You pulled out the dough from the freezer. You rolled the dough and he cut out shapes. Tup's favorite shapes were the tooka and the clone trooper helmet. You also cut out little stars from the last batch of dough for some sandwich cookies. The afternoon was filled with cookies in the oven, cookies out and cooling.

Finally the last cookies were baked, so you made the icing. Tup used it to make the little sandwich cookies while you mixed colors for the cut out cookies. He was not confident in his piping skills, but you tried to keep it simple and encouraged him to give it his best shot. At least if they didn't look great, they were going to be eaten anyway. He focused on the tooka cookies while you made the tropper helmets. Together, you added details on each helmet. He was proud of his 501st cookies.

Later in the evening after dinner, he made a pot of tea and you sat down with him to taste your creations. In reality, you had both eaten plenty of cookies that broke or didn't turn out quite right while you were in the process of making them, but this was your chance to savor them. It was a perfect evening simply sitting there with Tup and enjoying tea and cookies.

Kicks the door down. SO I HEAR YOU LIKE ANOTHER CLONE! Shuffles back to hold Tup's hand, mumble some encouraging words to this sweet boy, and walk him through the doorway.

You were to meet at a botannical garden. It was supposed to be quiet and pretty and your nerves were definitely not supposed to be on fire right now. Tup had finally asked you out and somehow, despite his sweetness and shyness, you were incredibly nervous. You took in a breath when you realized a simple truth. You were nervous because you cared. Because this mattered to you. And it was okay for it to matter.

Tup approached, hand anxiously scratching the nape of his neck, smiling at you, hair in his usual top knot. What you wouldn't give to see that top knot come undone. You immediately pushed that thought aside. First you just needed to make some actual sentient-being conversation.

"H-hi," he said.

"Hi," you quietly replied.

He gestured toward the entrance of the garden and you both walked in together. You started to relax as you moved around, looking at all the plants and seeing the flowers in different areas. He knew quite a bit about them, remembering most of the flowers from different planets he'd been to during the war. He loved hearing anything you knew and started to pick up on a pattern of which kind of flowers and colors you preferred, making a mental note for later.

There were some benches scattered around the garden and after a little while, you both sat near some tropical trees. You sat next to each other in silence, but once your eyes met, you were struck with a realization. You'd been so nervous earlier and assumed it must be a casual date for him. You hadn't considered the possibility that he was much more interested than a man would be on a casual date. That this was perhaps leading to something more, but looking into his deep brown eyes it clicked. Was Tup just as smitten with you as you were with him?

He broke the silence and quietly asked, "Would it be okay if I held your hand?"

You melted into a puddle at his request. You smiled and nodded, moving your hand toward his a little. He took it in his own and smiled. He was smitten.
