i have to quite agree with the cloneswap theory, that's definitely what it looks like and it would further explain the weird vibes that the scene gives. anD i think that there's nothing wrong with it and that in general it's not taking anything away from anyone, the idea's fine and i am actually excited for it myself, however i can't help but think that it would be a bit low to release such material (almost such material only, out of context) oBVIOUsly knowing the reaction and have it be a swap

i mean, it’s difficult to fully say what the vibe of the scene is since the clip is so short, but when has that /ever/ stopped clone club, truly? which is why i love this theory SO DAMN MUCH. cloneswaps are the bread and butter of the show, honestly. and i really hope this one is legit.

but you have a really good point. the scene was presented very clearly as “cophine” and was released in such a way that the fandom would react to it being cophine, so i can fully understand why some people would be upset about this theory. but they also need to understand that, for now, it’s JUST a /theory/. for me, it’s a way to pass the time. analyzing what little we have and having fun with it. which is something i miss about this fandom.

either way, it really /is/ a fun theory to toss around because it raises so many questions you know? like, trying to place where that scene would occur, bc sarah’s off the island so how could she swap with cosima? why would they need the swap in the first place, is cosima in danger, is the cure taking too long to heal her so she needs to be hidden away until she fully recovers?  are they still even on the island?? why are they in those clothes and /who/ made them wear those outfits? (if anyone) SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!! and so instead of immediately brushing the theory off to the side, entertain it, but it’s probably too far out to even be true anyways. no one’s stealing anything. just chill.

So many clones have impersonated Alison but Alison has only ever impersonated Sarah. I hope one day we’ll get to see if Alison’s acting chops are as strong as that Tatiana Maslany.
