i recently did a presentation on the substance (good movie btw) and i got inspired to do some stuff with tord and clord. anyways heres some headcanons:

clord doesn't have tord's tattoo, piercings, or scars. this also means that he doesn't have top surgery scars, hence why he has his tits out.

tord has gray eyes and longer hair. clord's irises are completely black and his hair is slightly shorter. he also does not have tord's gap tooth.

even though clord appears human-like, that doesn't mean he is one.

clord wants to replace tord. not just as a copy, but replacing him as if tord never existed.

the only reason why clord doesn't kill off tord is because he needs him to survive. he's a parasite that feeds off of tord's existence, if tord dies then he will too.

clord's expressions are very uncanny. his face always feels off.

was he created on accident? on purpose? who knows.

In the Clord Au do the others notice the difference and ask about it or do they decide not to bring it up and kinda shrug it off as Tord being weird and not wanting to get involved?

everyone's thoughts on clord

edd: he's the closest to tord out of everyone, so he naturally knows him best. when clord came around, he felt that something was off. however, he decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and welcome him into the house.

tom: he immediately knew something was off with clord. he's creeped out by him, and he always feels extremely uncomfortable whenever he's nearby. he's very cold around clord and keeps his eye on him.

matt: he feels off around clord, but is mostly oblivious. he never was super close with tord in the first place, but as long as he doesn't bother him, he doesn't mind him.

tord: he hates that clord is taking his place and that he's trying to steal everything from him, but he can't do anything to stop him. he's trapped.

clord's thoughts on everyone

edd: clord holds most of tord's memories. while some memories are fuzzier than others, the most vivid ones have to do with edd. he remembers his warmth and every emotion that tord has felt around edd. but no matter how much he tries to get close with edd just like how tord was, edd always seems distant.

tom: he's a major obstacle. even if he tries to act friendly around tom, he shoves him away. he knows that something is wrong, and any chances of him ruining clord's plans is too much of a risk.

matt: clord finds him annoying, but as long as matt doesn't get in the way, then he'll leave him alone. he severely underestimates matt, seeing him as nothing but a useless idiot.

tord: he despises tord. he hates that tord was the one living out those memories. he hates that everyone knew tord, but not him. he hates that he was the one living his life. the only reason why clord doesn't kill him off is because he feeds off of tord like a parasite. clord will continue to drain him for as long as he is able to live.

star's weird eddsworld timeline map

ok i know this is kinda convoluted but i tried to make things as clear as i could. this is actually a simplified version of what i have in my own notes, so imagine how crazy that version looks compared to this.

i have certain parts of my eddsworld headcanons seperated into alternate timelines, mainly just because it makes more sense in my mind rather than trying to mash everything into one single linear timeline.

main timeline

most of my art takes place in this timeline. majority of my my headcanons/writing is here. tordedd and tommatt are also important since some subplots are based around their relationships :P

clord exists

ive always had mixed feelings with the clone theory. on one hand i prefer actual tord being the antagonist (especially to not conflict with my current headcanons), but on the other hand i think the theory is an interesting concept. so i decided that clord exists in an alt timeline.

i have some cool ideas for this that i'll elaborate on in a future post. basically, clord is not exactly human. he wants to replace tord, but the only reason why he lets him live is because he's like a parasite. he feeds off of tord's existence, without him he will die.

tomtord is a thing

i can't disappoint my inner hardcore tomtord fanboy from 2017, so i still wanted to include them in some way. i decided on a seperate timeline, mainly to avoid conflicts with the ships from the main timeline (ik polyamory and multishipping exist, but keeping things separate works better in my hcs).

most of the important events from the main timeline still occur (ex: tord leaving, wtfuture, etc). anything related to tordedd or tommatt is retconned. tom and tord's evolution of their relationship has its own subplot.

zombeh attack

in the main timeline, a zombie apocalypse ALMOST happens, but was successfully contained before it spreaded out of control. in this timeline, the apocalypse ends up happening and zombies are everywhere.

a mix of events from both the zombeh attack trilogy and zombeh nation occur here. the main cast's ages range from their late teen years to early adulthood throughout the time they are alive during the apocalypse. the main household never exists during this time.

Do the group ever find out about clord?

yes. clord comes back to the household attempting to take tord's place, but it's inevitable that everyone eventually finds out that he's a clone. here's a post that details everyone's thoughts on clord and clord's thoughts on everyone else.

once clord realizes that his plan to replace tord fails, he lashes out and gives up on trying to hold a friendly demeanor. he becomes very aggressive towards everyone.
